NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man got into a confrontation with officers that ended with him being Tasered after police responded to reports of a loud argument Wednesday, according to the Hour.
Police told the Hour that officers were called to an apartment on Belden Avenue Wednesday evening on a report of a loud argument between a man and a woman. When they arrived, they encountered Robert Eby, 40, who was uncooperative with officers and locked his front door and stood in front of it, according to the Hour.
Officers instructed Eby to move, which he refused to do, police told the Hour. After they told him again and he still refused, they approached him at which point he began to struggle, the Hour reported.
Eby was wrestled to the ground by officers and Tasered during the confrontation, the Hour reported. He was charged with interfering with an officer, according to the Hour.
