Editor: As a resident of Wilton, and someone who pays attention to state and local events, I am pleased to offer my support for State Rep. Gail Lavielle’s reelection campaign for the 143rd district. I have had the honor of knowing many of our state and local elected officials over the years, and have rarely seen the 100 percent commitment to the job that Gail brings, along with her complete understanding of the issues, and thoughtful style of leadership. She has served admirable with distinction and effectiveness on critical House committees including Appropriations, Education, Commerce, and the CT Public Transportation Commission. Spending wisely, improving transportation infrastructure, bringing jobs to Connecticut, and delivering quality education to all is her domain through these committees. We need her continued representative voice to right our state ship and move us all forward again, and we certainly need to change the status quo!
