NORWALK, Conn. – Yolanda Patston (née Patalano), 78, of Norwalk, died Saturday, Aug. 1 at Norwalk Hospital.
She was born in Norwalk and was a town resident for the last 40 years. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy of Stamford, Connecticut, and Merrill’s Business College, where she studied business administration. Yolanda will be remembered for her fortitude, sense of humor, devotion to those in need, and her love of the Yankees and animals.
She is survived by her son, Dale Patston (Dawn) of Norwalk; a brother of Brookfield, Connecticut; and four nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Guy Patston and a sister.
A private memorial service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Norwalk Senior Center, 11 Allen Road, Norwalk, or Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), 504 Main Ave., Norwalk.
The Cremation Society of Connecticut has been entrusted with arrangements.
