NORWALK, Conn. -- William Henry Lancaster, 82, died May 4, 2015, in Norwalk Hospital after a long illness.
He was born Feb. 6, 1933, in Edgecombe County, N.C.
Lancaster lived in Norwalk and later moved to New Canaan. He worked for the Griffin Ford car dealership for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Iris Teel (Johnny); his son Larry Lancaster (Adrienne); three granddaughters; and one grandson.
He was predeceased by one son, David Ray Lancaster.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, in New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 22 Lexington Ave., South Norwalk. The wake will take place at 10 a.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Baker Funeral Services, 84 S. Main St., Norwalk.
