NORWALK, Conn. - William A. Duncan of Norwalk died Thursday, July 18. He was 70.
Duncan was born Aug. 8, 1942, in New Milford, son of Grace Moore Durkin and stepfather, Denis Durkin. He worked for C.R. Gibson for over 30 years. He was a 4th degree member of Knights of Columbus Council #46, a member of the St. Ann Club and a member of the Laurel Athletic Club.
Duncan is survived by his mother, Grace; sister, Kitty Durkin Scalisi (Nicholas) of Norwalk; nephews and niece; and a great-niece. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Denis.
Calling hours are Sunday, July 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 22 at 11 a.m. in St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Richards Ave., Norwalk.
