NORWALK, Conn. – Stephen Charles Schlitt of Norwalk died suddenly Sept. 17. He was 28.
Born in New York City, Schlitt graduated from Norwalk High School in 2002. He received an associate’s degree in graphic design from Norwalk Community College and worked as an office operations coordinator at Muehlstein in Wilton.
His zest for life was evident in everything he pursued, his family said. He was passionate about cars, music and art.
Schlitt is survived by his parents, Gina and Charles Schlitt Jr.; a brother, Jon Schlitt; a daughter, Valentina Naomi Schlitt; and his grandparents, Mildred Vernazza and Dorothy Schlitt. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Gino Vernazza and Charles Schlitt Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Church in Westport. Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
