NORWALK, Conn. – Sophia E. Kyriakides of Norwalk died Sept. 19 at Aurora Assisted Living in Norwalk. She was 91.
Born July 10, 1921 in Pontos, Turkey, she was the daughter of Xristos and Anastasia Tsaxirides. She was married to Elefterios Kyriakides, who predeceased her. Kyriakides was very religious and active at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Norwalk.
Kyriakides is survived by a son, Andy E. Kides, of Norwalk; and a daughter, Simela Tsropoulos, of Norwalk; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Norwalk.
