NORWALK, Conn. – A memorial Mass will be celebrated on May 9 for Shirley A. Coppola, 87, who died on March 12 in Wilton Meadow Convalescent Home.
She was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Norwalk, to Alexander and Anne Karoly Nagy. She worked for MBI Inc., Norwalk for many years before she retired.
She is survived by her son, Robert Coppola and his wife, Kathy, of Norwalk; her daughter, Karen Smith and her husband, Jeffrey, of Norwalk; two grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Coppola.
The memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. at St. Ladislaus Church, Cliff Street, South Norwalk. Interment will be private.
The Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall St. is handling arrangements.
