Lubas was born in Bridgeport, she was an executive secretary with Burndy Corporation in Norwalk, the Westport Artist’s School and Pepperidge Farm, prior to her retirement.
Lubas is survived by her son, Robin D. Lubas of Fairfield; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Roberts of Milford; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George Lubas; son, Ricky.
Calling hours are Monday, July 1 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield Center. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. with interment to follow in Union Cemetery in Stratford. Donations may be made in Lubas’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
