NORWALK, Conn. – Sara R. Auleta of Norwalk died Jan. 12 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 92.
Born Sept. 24, 1920, in Norwalk, she was the daughter of Frank and Catherine Maisano Mugavero. A lifelong Norwalk resident, Auleta attended local schools. She was married to Anthony Auleta, who predeceased her.
Auleta worked for various companies in Norwalk and was a longtime member of St. Joseph Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Auleta, of Norwalk; a sister, Marie Palmer, of Coventry, Conn.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel Auleta.
Services are private. Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk is handling arrangements.
