NORWALK, Conn. - Salvatore N. Bottler of Norwalk died Saturday, Aug. 3. He was 83.
Bottler was born in Norwalk, son of Nicholas and Mary (Agliotta) Bottler, he was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army as a corporal. He also served in the Norwalk Police Auxiliary and retired from South Norwalk Electric many years ago. He was a past alter preparer and usher at St. Matthew Church.
Bottler is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Raymond) Bottler; children, Keith Wilmot (Patricia) of Fla., Debra Wilmot Kling (Keith) of Newtown, Sally Bottler Gaita (Joseph) of Redding; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many relatives.
