Lanzilotta was born Oct. 31, 1943, in Norwalk, daughter of Joseph and Antoinette Madaffari. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School in 1961. She was president with the Sons of Italy. She started her career as an executive secretary but more recently was a successful Real Estate/Mortgage broker in California.
Lanzilotta is survived by her husband, Dr. Raymond P. Lanzilotta; daughters, Kimberly Troy Benincaso, Karyn Troy Deering (Michael) and Kasey Troy Vukson (Brian); eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, Brett Eppinger, Trevor and Amelia Norkowski; and siblings, Peter Madaffari of Norwalk, Patrick Madaffari of Palm Bay, Fla., Lucille Madaffari of Menlo Park, Calif., Joseph Madaffari, Jr. of Norwalk and Joanne McGowan of Norwalk. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Theresa Madaffari Arcudi.
Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. in St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
