Rosemary Fretina, 83, Of Norwalk, Worked In Child Care

NORWALK, Conn. - Rosemary Fretina of Norwalk died Wednesday, Dec. 17. She was 83.

Fretina was born July 8, 1931, in Stamford, to Salvator and Anna Marie Forlenzo. She worked as a factory worker. Later in life she worked in child care.

Fretina is survived by her sister, Philomena Tabbi of California; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Fretina of Norwalk; and siblings, Peter, Albert, Salvatore, Tony, Patsy, Domenick, Frankie, Angelina, Louise and Joseph.

Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 22 from 9:30  to 10:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Convalescent Home, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Dec.22 at 10:30 a.m. in Notre Dame Convalescent Home, Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. Contributions in Fretina’s name may be made to St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, CT 06854.
