Rose Marie Richitelli Jeffery, 91, Of Norwalk, Worked For Dr. Frank Serena

NORWALK, Conn. - Rose Marie Richitelli Jeffery of Norwalk died Nov. 28. She was 91.

Jeffery was born Feb. 20, 1923, in New Haven, to James C. and Louise DiReinzo Richitelli, and lived in Orange until moving to Norwalk. She graduated from The New Haven Junior Physical Therapy College. She had a lengthy career as a physical therapist at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, Grace New Haven and St. Raphael Hospitals in New Haven and then working for Dr. Frank Serena in Norwalk. She was a longtime member of the St. Mary’s Women’s Guild. She was the wife of Robert T. Jeffery.

Jeffery is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Cindy) Beres of Stratford; a grandchild; a great grandchild; sister, Dorothy May Richitelli DeMatties of Orange; many sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Pasquale J. Richitelli.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk. Interment will follow in the Orange Center Cemetery, Orange.

Memorial donations may be made to The Dominican Nuns at The Monastery of Our Lady of Grace; 11 Race Hill Road, North Guilford.
