NORWALK, Conn. – Roberta C. Gottlieb, a resident of Norwalk, died Friday, March 4. She was 64.
In 1969, she graduated from Brien McMahon High School and received an associate’s degree from Norwalk Community College. She had a 30-year career at Purdue Pharma. She also volunteered at Animals in Distress of Wilton and served on their board for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Lynn Barate; brother-in-law, Robert Barate; her nieces, Lindsey Barate Buono and her husband, Matthew; Marissa Barate; and great niece, Brooklynn Buono.
She was predeceased by her companion, Howard Black.
The family will receive visitors at Roberta’s home, 5 Belfor Road, Norwalk, Wednesday, March 9, and Thursday, March 10, from 3-7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animals in Distress, Wilton in Roberta’s name.
