Richard D. LaBella, 80, Former Norwalk Resident

NAPLES, Fla. - Richard Donald LaBella of Naples, formerly of Stamford and Norwalk, Conn., died Wednesday, Jan. 29. He was 80.

LaBella was born Oct. 17, 1933, to Daniel and Bergliot LaBella. He attended Stamford High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, and received a discharge in 1955. He was the owner of Cos Cob Barber Shop and CCB Haircutters in Greenwich for approximately 40 years before retiring to Naples.

LaBella is survived by his wife, Antoinette (Toni) LaBella; brother, Robert LaBella of Mass., and Frank LaBella of Fla.; children, Richard LaBella (Josephine), Ronald LaBella (Toni Ann), Robert LaBella (Marianna), Patti Price (Steven), Roger LaBella, Tracy DeBeradinis (Marc) and Jennifer Montoni (John); and 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Edward LaBella of Stamford.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at St. Philip Catholic Church, One Father Conlon Place, Norwalk, CT 06850.
