Reginald Cunningham, 82, Norwalk Resident

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk resident Reginald Andrew Cunningham died Sunday, Jan. 17. He was 82.

An Army veteran of Korea, Cunningham worked for a time as a printer, eventually retiring as a manager from United House Wrecking.

He was a very active member of St. Philip’s Church, where he also served as an usher, and he was involved with the Scottish Games. 

Cunningham is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Josephine (Lodato) Cunningham; children Andy Cunningham, Rich and Barbara Cunningham, Debbie Roddy, and Brian Cunningham; grandchildren Amanda, Jessica, Megan, Ryan Michael, Matthew, Carly, Emily, John, Sarah, Christopher, Julia and Brianna; as well as numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew Hay and Jeannie (Milloy) Cunningham.

Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at St. Philip Church in Norwalk. Burial with military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
