NORWALK, Conn. - Phoebe Holly of Norwalk died June 1. She was 93.
Holly was born April 13, 1920, in New Canaan, to Robert and Clara Canniff Butler. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Norfield Grange and a member of the Turner River Church where she once served as a deacon.
Holly is survived by daughters, Betsy Davis (Jim), of Melbourne, Fla., and Frann Harrison (Lane), of Norwalk; sister, Janet Doptis, of Rochester, N.Y.; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin Holly; and son, Albert.
A graveside service for Holly will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4 at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan.
