NORWALK, Conn. – Norman LaRochelle, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, died June 25 at the age of 67.
He was born July 25, 1944, in Norwalk to Yvette and Alcide LaRochelle. He served in U.S. Navy for two years. LaRochelle enjoyed grilling, baseball games, dining out and making everyone laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Lupe LaRochelle; a son, Carlos Pabon; two sisters, Rita Byxbee and Doris Caffrey; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Leo LaRochelle; a sister, Theresa LaRochelle; and a son, Keven LaRochelle.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church in Norwalk, with the Rev. Greg Markey officiating. Baker Funeral Services in Norwalk is in charge of arrangements.
