NORWALK, Conn. — Nona B. Fazekas, of Norwalk, died of natural causes Friday, Oct. 2 at her home. She was 95.
Fazekas was born Jan. 2, 1920, in Coleman, Okla., to Rosa Alexander and Wayne L. Baker.
She worked as an instrument maker at Kaplan’s of Rowayton, was a manager at Bradlees Department Store and was an active member of the AFL-CIO.
Fazekas was predeceased by her husband Frank.
She is survived by three sons; Michael of Menomonee Falls, Wisc.; John of Stamford, Mark of Norwalk, and daughter Joan Griffith and her husband Jeffery of Greensboro, N.C.
Visiting hours will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk.
A Mass of Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk.
Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
