Morris Weiss, 85, Norwalk Auto Shop Owner, WWII Veteran

NORWALK, Conn. – Morris Weiss of Norwalk died Jan. 19 at Norwalk Hospital. He was 85.

Weiss was the owner of Weiss’ Garage in East Norwalk for more than 40 years.

Born Sept. 8, 1927, in Norwalk, he was the son of Nathan and Pauline Fishler Weiss. He served in the Navy during World War II.

He was predeceased by his wife, Marion Rochlin Weiss.

Weiss is survived by a son, Robert Weiss, of Norwalk; his twin brother, Aaron Weiss, of Palm Coast, Fla.; and a sister, Gertrude Sirkin, of Norwalk.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, at Beth El Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rabbi Joseph Ron Fish officiating. Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk is handling arrangements.
