NORWALK, Conn. – Michael S. Kurtzman of Norwalk died Aug. 2 at Norwalk Hospital. He was 52.
Born in Norwalk, he was the son of Helen and the late Steven Kurtzman. He was married to Sharon Toss Kurtzman for 24 years. Kurtzman worked as a printer and enjoyed bible studies, motorcycles and vegetable gardening. His strong faith led him to become a pastor, where he found great joy in ministering.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his mother, Helen, of Norwalk; a brother, Richard Kurtzman, of Norwalk; a sister, Diana (Paul) DeFonzo, of Orange, Conn.; and13 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk, officiated by the Rev. Peter Westfield. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
