Chesnick was born Sept. 7, 1915, in Norwalk, daughter of Michael and Julia (Kodobocz) Toth. She was a member of the Derby Senior Center.
Chesnick is survived by her children, Julianna T. Chesnick of Derby, Frank J. Chesnick (Cecilia) of Pavilion, N.Y., and Mary E. McIlvaine (Robert) of Marshfield, Mass.; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; a nephew; a great grand nephew; and several other family members. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Frank Chesnick; and brothers, Joseph and William Toth.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 at St. Mary Church, Derby, followed by a short reception. Private burial to be held at St John Cemetery
