Mary Ann Cast, 85, Worked As Bookkeeper In Norwalk

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - Mary Ann Cast, formerly of Ridgefield and Brookfield, died Nov.6. She was 85.

Cast was born June 9, 1928, to Paul J. and Mary (Bible) Sanders in Maplewood, N.J. She lived in Ridgefield for almost 40 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Fairfield County Council of the Boy Scouts of America in Ridgefield and Norwalk.

Cast is survived by her son, Bruce Cast (Lisamay Cleary-Cast) of Southbury; daughter, Linda Reddington (Jeff Strang) of Brookfield; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Cast; and brother, Paul Sanders.

A memorial gathering will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the United Church of Christ, 283 Main St. North, Southbury, interment will follow in the memorial garden at the church.
