NORWALK, Conn. -- Martin V. “Marty” Sullivan, 80, of Norwalk, husband of Eileen Lenehan Sullivan, died Tuesday, Feb 17, at his home.
Sullivan was born in Norwalk, son of the late Vincent and Florence Kent Sullivan.
He was a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service prior to retirement, served with the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 588.
He is survived by his wife; his children Eileen Sullivan and Vincent Sullivan; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Feb. 23, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
Friends may visit with the family Sunday, Feb. 22, from 3-6 p.m., at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk.
