NORWALK, Conn. – Marie V. Porcheddu, a Norwalk resident, died Sunday, Feb. 7. She was 82.
Born May 18, 1933, in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Carmella Fabricatore.
She is survived by her children Antonio Porcheddu, Mark Porcheddu, Marie Porcheddu and Lori Courtney; her brother, Nicholas Fabricatore and his wife, Sharon; grandchildren Joelle, Luis, Dominique, Jordan, Kyle and Justin; and great-grandchildren Gio, Savannah and Peyton.
She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio; two sons Nicholas and Peter; and brothers, Patsy, Dominick, Joseph and Egidio.
Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien.
