Leo was born Feb. 17, 1927, in Greenwich, to Sylvio and Lucy DePaso Pitasi, and has lived in Norwalk for the past 46 years. She was the former owner of Professional Telephone Service in Stamford and also danced at the Arthur Murray Studio in Stamford for many years.
Leo is survived by her husband, Michael F. Leo, Sr.; daughter, Michelle L. Forlenza (Robert Michael) of Downingtown, Pa.; sister, Angela Ross of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; a great grandson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; son, Michael F. Leo, Jr.; and brothers, Nicholas and Sylvio “Max” Pitasi, Jr.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24 at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Greenwich.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leo’s name may be made to the Stamford Hospital Cardiology Services, c/o Stamford Hospital, 1351 Washington Blvd., Suite 202, Stamford or to the American Heart Assoc.
