NORWALK, Conn. - Maria S. Mola of Norwalk died recently. She was 68.
Mola was born Dec. 29, 1945, in Norwalk, to Peter and Angelina Dumas Scombul. She worked for many years at the Norwalk Hospital.
Mola is survived by her husband, John L. Mola; children, Michele Gulemi (Jerry) of Norwalk, Michael Mola (Anne-Corrine) of Blowing Rock, N.C., and Christiane Novak of Norwalk; eight grandchildren; brother, George Scombulis; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk. Entombment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mola’s name may be made to All Saints Catholic School, 139 West Rocks Road, Norwalk, 06851.
