NORWALK, Conn. – Maria Cristiano, a longtime resident of Norwalk, died Saturday, Feb. 20. She was 75.
Cristiano was born in the town of Silva Jardim in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, on Feb.15, 1941. For 20 years, she was employed at Perkin-Elmer in Norwalk.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Cristiano; daughters, Annmarie and Joann Cristiano; niece Lori Camoro; nephew Robert Springer; and several siblings, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francisco Monteiro and Gracelina Silva; her mother-in-law, Marie Cristiano; sister-in-law, Margaret Camoro; brother-in-law, Ronald Cristiano; and nephew, Ronald Cristiano Jr.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Bosak Funeral Home, at 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, 84 S. Main St., Norwalk. Interment will be private.
