NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk resident Lucy Florence Cocchia, 94, wife of the late Rocco Cocchia, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, at her home.
Born in Bridgeport Dec. 27, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Vertucci.
Cocchia is survived by a daughter Deborah Cocchia and a son Anthony Cocchia of Norwalk. She also is survived by a granddaughter Jennifer Williamson and her husband Jason, and by three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son Wayne, two brothers, two sisters and her stepfather Louis Fasano.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
