Lorraine Trizzino Dennen, 77, Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – Lorraine Trizzino Dennen, 77, of Norwalk, died Monday, Aug. 10.

A 53-year resident of Norwalk, she was born Aug. 28, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, to Josephine and Frank Trizzino. She was a devoted parishioner and Eucharistic minister at St. Philip Church and was active in the community, including various roles at Central Catholic High School, president of the Wolfpit School PTO, and leadership roles in the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was also a charter member of the Junior League of Norwalk.

After raising her children, she started successful careers as both a realtor and an executive recruiter in the finance and pharmaceuticals industries, and launched her own firm, Concord Recruiting. She and her husband, Bob, were longtime members of Shore and Country Club.

She is survived by her mother, Josephine Trizzino; her husband, Robert; her four children and their spouses: Robert and Maryann Dennen of Bronxville, New York; Mark and Joanie Dennen of Healdsburg, California; Laura and Tim Callahan of Wilton, Connecticut; and Steve and Maura Dennen of Ashburn, Virginia; twelve grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father, Frank Trizzino, and a brother.

Her family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 13 from 4-8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Philip Church, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
