NORWALK, Conn. -- Loretta M. Anderson, 89, formerly of Norwalk, passed away May 31, 2015 in Melbourne, Fla.
She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1943. She worked for Postal Telegraph, Western Union and Norwalk Hospital. “Mrs. A” was involved in the Hot Shots Drum Corps for many years.
She retired and moved to Stuart, Fla. in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Anderson, and daughter, Lea Whitman.
Anderson is survived by her children Patricia Clardy, William Anderson and Karen Gregor. She also is survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She is laid to rest with her husband Bill at the National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Fla.
