NORWALK, Conn. – Kiriaki Kydes of Norwalk died July 26 at her home. She was 82. 

Born June 15, 1930, in Theodosia, Russia, she was the daughter of Harry and Despina Alexandrides Kyriakides. She was married to Nicholas Kydes, who predeceased her. 

Kydes is survived by two daughters, Parthena Kydes (George) Kourpouanides and Vasiliki Kydes (Elias) Haralambidis; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Cappiello Kydes; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Gus N. Kydes; and three brothers, Paul, Steve and Andy Kyriakides. 

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Norwalk.

NORWALK, Conn. - Carlos Cintron of Norwalk died June 17. He was 87.

Cintron was born Nov. 2, 1925, in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico; son of Manuel and Teresa Soto Cintron. He was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a postal carrier for 17 years as well as a tax consultant and most recently a supervisor for Colonial Foot Wear.
