Shillinglaw was born in Queens, to Norman and Emma (Quoma) Wiseman. She was a graduate of Stamford High School , class of 1971. She worked as a sales associate for Dress Barn for many years.
Shillinglaw is survived by her husband, Bruce; daughter, Danielle Shillinglaw; son, Bruce Shillinglaw Jr.; a granddaughter; sister, Ellen Wiseman Marrero; many nieces, nephews; and grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Debra Lee Wiseman and Jeanne Marie Webb.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the United Congregational Church, 275 Richards Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Norwalk Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to COPDfoundation.org ( 20 F St, Washington DC 20001).
