NORWALK, Conn. – Julie Laguerre of Norwalk died Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Aurora Senior Living. She was 106.

Laguerre was born June 20, 1906, in Camp-Perin, Haiti. She was a retired seamstress.

She is survived by six children, 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  

The family will receive friends from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory in Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthew Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

NORWALK, Conn. - Carlos Cintron of Norwalk died June 17. He was 87.
