Taccone was born June 10, 1925, in Forio, Ischia, Italy, daughter of Michael and Beatrice Morgera, and has lived in the U.S. since 1958. She was a former employee of Corday, Inc. in South Norwalk where she worked for 20 years.
Taccone is survived by her children, Gaetano (Janice) Taccone, Anthony (Cheryl) Taccone, Francesca (Raffaele) Iacono, all of Norwalk, Beatrice Chiappardi and her companion Vincent Sullivan of Fla., and Michele Coluccelli of Norwalk, her brother Lorenzo Morgera of Italy, 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Joseph Taccone; and son-in-law, Potito Coluccelli.
Calling hours are Monday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Burial will be private.
