Joseph Dragonetti, 88, Of Norwalk, Retired From Burndy Corporation

NORWALK, Conn. - Joseph Dragonetti of Norwalk died Saturday, Nov. 15. He was 88.

Dragonetti was born May 20, 1926, in the Bronx, to Nicola and Leonarda Donato Dragonetti. He was a retired plant manager for the Burndy Corporation and a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army.

Dragonetti is survived by his sons, Joseph Dragonetti (Debbie), and Robert Dragonetti; daughters, Diana Mazzello (Anthony), and Marie Gentile; nine grandchildren; a great grandson; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Maria Grief. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Dorothy LoGiudice Dragonetti; son-in-law, John Gentile; and brothers, Anthony and John Dragonetti.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk. Entombment with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery.
