NORWALK, Conn. - Joseph A. Berardi of Norwalk died Tuesday, Oct. 29. He was 84.
Berardi was born Jan. 7, 1929, in Norwalk, son of Philip and Mary Leone Berardi, and has lived locally all of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was the chief electrician at the Norwalk Hospital for 28 years and before that had his own electrical business.
Berardi is survived by his wife, Frances Passafume Berardi; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brother, Stephen.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1 at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery.
Donations in Berardi’s name may be made to a local animal shelter.
