NORWALK, Conn. – John L. Esposito, 65, husband of Kim Esposito of Norwalk, died Monday, June 15, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital of West Haven.
Born on Nov. 10, 1949, in Bridgeport, Conn., he was the son of the late Peter and Alphia Esposito.
He grew up in Bridgeport but lived most of his life in Norwalk. He served in the Army in the Vietnam War from 1968-70.
A member of the South Norwalk Boat Club since 2000, he was a well-respected and very skilled mechanic and built his lifelong business around marine mechanics.
He is survived by his wife, Kim; daughter Tiffany (Miguel); son Michael Esposito; and daughter Christina Esposito; a granddaughter; and two sisters, Laura Towle and Rosemary Donahue.
Visitation is Friday, from 3-7 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. Officers and members of the South Norwalk Boat Club will pay their respects at 6 p.m., followed by prayer at 6:30 p.m.
