John Byrnes, 64, Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – John M. Byrnes of Norwalk died Oct. 19 at Norwalk Hospital. He was 64. 

Born Aug. 5, 1948, in Norwalk, he was the son of Margaret Park Byrnes and the late John M. Byrnes. He graduated from Norwalk High School in 1966 and Western Connecticut College in 1970. 

He taught for a year before joining his father at the Frank J. Byrnes Moving Company. He worked with him until 1998. 

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Church on the Green. Burial will be private. Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Seabury Academy, c/o St. Paul's Church on the Green, 60 East Ave., Norwalk, CT 06851.
