NORWALK, Conn. – Joanne Torino Holcomb, 61, of Stratford, formerly of Norwalk, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Bridgeport Hospital.
Born in New Haven on Nov. 24, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Morse Torino.
Prior to retirement in the late 1990s, Holcomb was a banker with the former Union Trust Company in the New Haven area, and later with Wachovia Bank in Shelton.
She was an avid University of Connecticut Huskies fan and adored Boston terriers, especially her “Spike.”
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Holcomb; two brothers; and a sister.
Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 25 from 3-6:30 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A prayer service will commence at 6:30 p.m.
Private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
