NORWALK, Conn. – Joan Woodger of Norwalk died Jan. 6 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 83.
Born Sept. 23, 1929, in Rutland, Vt., she was the daughter of John F. and Alice Anderson Reille. She was married to Alfred W. Woodger, who predeceased her.
Woodger worked as a medical receptionist for many years and was previously employed by the practices of Doctors Robert Appleby, Dean Martin and Howard Eison.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki (John) Bove and Cindy Woodger, both of Norwalk; a son, Glenn Woodger, of Annapolis, Md.; and two grandsons. Woodger was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Kinney; and a brother, Robert Reille.
Services will be private. Collins Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
