NORWALK, Conn. - Jewel Maybin of Norwalk died Friday, July 26. She was 74.
Maybin was born July 3, 1939, in Headland, Alabama, daughter of Marvin and Delphine Danzey. She was a member of Saint James Missionary Baptist Church.
Maybin is survived by her son, Marvette Danzey of Largo, Fla.; three grandsons; one great grandson; three sisters; four brothers; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Johnny Lee Maybin.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at Saint James Missionary Baptist Church, 60 Rockland Road, Norwalk with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
