Jane Birdsall Weeks, 91, Of Norwalk, Presided In Bowling Community

NORWALK, Conn. - Jane Birdsall Weeks of Norwalk died Tuesday, Aug. 6. She was 91.

Weeks was born Feb. 25, 1922, in Toledo, Ohio, to Russell E. and Beatrice Birdsall. She has resided locally for over 50 years. She was a former president and director of a local women's bowling organization. She spent her time organizing and running youth bowling programs at Broad River Lanes in Norwalk and was an avid bridge player.

Weeks is survived by her daughter, Diane W. Janeway (Eric); son, Andrew H. Weeks (Janet); siblings, Herbert, James, Russell Birdsall, and Barbara Demos; six grandchildren; a great grandson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Frank E. Weeks.

Calling hours are Wednesday Aug. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
