NORWALK, Conn. – James P. Finch of Norwalk died Oct. 19 at Norwalk Hospital. He was 78.
Born Oct. 26, 1933, in Norwalk, he was the son of Robert and Sara Savage Finch. He was married to Agnes Siswick Finch for 51 years. He worked as a union electrician and was a 56-year member of the Local 208 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Finch retired from the Norwalk Electric Company and was a member of St. Matthew Church. He was active with the church's New Horizons Club.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes; a son, James P. (Mary) Finch Jr., of North Haven, Conn.; a daughter, Sara (Sal) Calise, of Norwalk; four granddaughters; and a niece. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Matthew Church in Norwalk. Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk handled the arrangements.
