Hope Tomberlin Perry, 54, Former Norwalk Resident

HARTFORD, Conn. - Hope Tomberlin Perry of Hartford died Monday, July 8. She was 54.

Perry was born Sept. 7, 1958, in Norwalk, daughter of Ruby Pearson Tomberlin and Marvin Tomberlin, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Norwalk and moved to Hartford 10 years ago. She received her formal education in the Norwalk Public Schools and graduated from Brien McMahon High School in 1976.

Perry is survived by her husband, Ronney Perry; sons, Christopher Tomberlin of Atlanta, Ga., Benjamin Tomberlin, Troy Davis, Tyvon Davis, all of Norwalk and Gary Davis of Bridgeport; step-daughter, Takeya Perry of Hartford; six grandsons; mother, Ruby Pearson Tomberlin of Norwalk; sisters, Josephine Tomberlin, Theresa Tomberlin, Terry Tomberlin, all of Norwalk and Bernita Tomberlin-Sharp of Orlando, Fla.; brothers, Willie Tomberlin of Norwalk and Bruce (Karen) Tomberlin of Stamford; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Marvin; sister, Ruthie Tomberlin-Scott; and brothers, Marvin F. Tomberlin, Jr. and Gerald Tomberlin.

Calling hours are Monday, July 15 at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 21 Concord St., Norwalk, CT 06854. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
