NORWALK, Conn. – Henry D. Bumbolow, 99, of Norwalk, died Friday, Feb. 13, at Norwalk Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Annmarie (McCarthy) Bumbolow. He was born in New York on Sept. 15, 1915, son to the late Dominick and Theresa (Barbuzza) Bumbolow. He was a safety engineer for Chub and Son for over 40 years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Anthony of Padua in the Bronx and a certified safety professional.
He is survived by a son, Thomas, and his wife, Mary Jane; a daughter, Terry Bumbolow; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Richard; four brothers; and three sisters.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 5-8 p.m. at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, N.Y.
