Latella was born March 13, 1931, in Solano Inferiore, Italy, daughter of Santo and Vincenza Cambareri Legato and has lived locally since 1966. She worked for many years for Swank, Inc. in Norwalk as a seamstress and later for Osborn & Little in Stamford.
Latella is survived by her children, Maria Vincenza Fedele (Rocco) of Norwalk, Sal Latella (Marie) of Westport and Ralph Latella of Norwalk; sister, Filomena Surace (Giuseppe) of Italy; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Vincenzo Rinaldo Latella,
Calling hours are Friday, June 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
