NORWALK, Conn. - Grace Frances Range Fosnot of Norwalk died Monday, Nov. 11. She was 96.
Fosnot was born Jan. 24, 1917, in Chicago, to Charles and Pelagia (Pelka) Range. After her marriage she moved with her husband to various locales within the U.S., and settled in Maplewood, N.J., then Greenwich. After her retirement, she relocated to Norwalk, and for the past one and a half years she resided in Leeds, Mass. Fosnot is survived by her children, Harold, Jr. (Marcia), John (Nancy), Mary Barrett (Richard), and Anne Spillane (Stephen); nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Fosnot; and son, Harold, Jr. Calling hours are Thursday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich.
