NORWALK, Conn. -- Fred E. Petrini, 87, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, April 21.
He was the son of the late Ferdinand and Mary Lombardi Petrini, of Norwalk.
Petrini, a U.S. Army veteran, served overseas in 1945.
He worked for the First District Water Department for 47 years.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Gaeta Petrini; two sons, Fred Petrini and Jerry (Gigi) Petrini; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, James E. Petrini, preceded him in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 23, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk.
Entombment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
There will be no calling hours.
Magner Funeral Home, Norwalk, is handling the arrangements.
